Founder Jovan Žerjal - BJJ black belt first degree IBJJF
Before founding the team, Jovan Zerjal lived and played sports in France. He trained karate for a long time, in which he has a brown belt, and Jiu Jitsu in which he has a black belt. After many years of searching, and the emerging of BJJ in the world, he is one of the pioneers of BJJ in Europe.
He began training at one of the first clubs in Europe - Cercle Tissier in Paris. Training hard and participating at various events in France, he regulary went to train in Brazil where he started traing with great master Carlson Gracie.

He went to the World Championships for the Carlson Gracie Academy. Earning first place and the gold medal at the European Cup he became the first Serb to win the gold European medal, competing for Yugoslavia. (After many years his son also became the European champion)
He founded the Zerjal Team in Paris, Bagnolet where he trained and coached the team.He came to Serbia in 2000 and brought Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As a pioneer of BJJ in Europe he created clubs and founded the BJJ Association of Serbia. He received his black belt from master Fernando Pinduke (7th dan) - the greatest fighter of the first generation on the great master Carlson Gracie.
He was the first in Serbia to officially train fighters for MMA and created some of the greatest names in the region. The younger generation of his competitors won, in both junior and senior competitions, numerous medals at International, European and World championships in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Grappling.
